1. What are the differences in pack sizes? How do I compare/convert between metric and imperial (US & UK)?

Please use the following table when comparing pack sizes. It is important to note that some US standard sizes are different to their UK Imperial equivalents:

2. What shelf life would I normally expect to receive?

Aeropia endeavours to keep fresh product on our shelves and to ship the freshest product with the longest shelf life to our customers. Obviously we need to maintain a balance between long shelf life and having the product available and therefore products will have at least 30% shelf life remaining when shipped unless we agree a shorter life with you first.

3. How long will it take for my order to ship?

Aeropia will endeavour to ship your order with the least possible delay using the following service criteria:

AOG / IOR: All stock items ready for dispatch within four hours

Standard: All stock items ready for dispatch within 8 working hours

Non-stock items will be subject to the manufacturer’s lead times. Large shipments, or items requiring special packaging may take longer. Please always let us know if your order is urgent.

4. What additional charges can I expect?

We always try to ensure that our quotation details all of the charges you will expect to see. There may be instances where additional charge will apply (such as dry-ice packaging or exceptional hazardous packaging charges) but we will let you know of these charges at order confirmation stage.

5. What documentation is supplied with my order?

As standard, Aeropia will provide you with a copy of our Certificate of Conformance and the Material Safety Data Sheet (which is also available from our Infolink information portal).

Upon request we can also provide a copy of the manufacturer’s release paperwork and test certificates however, in some instances our suppliers charge for this paperwork which we will need to pass on.

If you require this additional certification, please ensure that you state this clearly on your enquiry/order as it is sometimes difficult to obtain this data retrospectively.

6. What are your opening hours?

Our UK operations are open from 08:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday.
Our US office is open from 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.
Our German office is open from 07:30 to 17:00 Monday to Friday.

7. What is your returns policy?

Should you wish to return any products please contact your customer service representative for an authorisation number.

All faulty products will be replaced and returned to the manufacturer for investigation.

Non-faulty products may be returnable only if:

  • We shipped them to you in error   OR;
  • They are normal Aeropia stock items  AND
  • They have been stored in accordance with the manufacturers storage policy  AND
  • They are in the same condition as when received

A re-stocking charge may apply for the return of non-faulty products.

9. How quickly will I receive a quotation for my enquiry?

We would normally expect to answer your enquiries on a same-day basis. Enquiries for a large amount of products, or for items where we do not have current prices will take a little longer. Please ensure your customer service representative is aware of the urgency of your enquiry.

12. If I open an account with Aeropia, what are the normal trading terms/days of credit?

Subject to the receipt of satisfactory trading references, our normal terms of trade are 30 days from month-end.
